Stock placeholderAfter Hours Freight
Delivery and collection outside standard business hours.
After Hours is for freight that needs to move outside the standard customer service window: collection or delivery arranged for a time before or after the depot's usual hours, by prior agreement rather than as a standing service.
This suits jobs where the pickup or delivery point genuinely can't be reached during standard hours: a business that closes before the regular run comes through, a delivery that has to land before a site opens in the morning, or a job that only becomes possible once the working day elsewhere has ended. It's arranged directly with the depot handling the run, since an after-hours job has to be fitted around what's already scheduled rather than booked as a default option.
It doesn't suit freight that could just as easily move during standard hours. After Hours exists for jobs that specifically need it, not as a general upgrade. It also isn't a same-day or urgent-dispatch service in its own right, so a job that is both after-hours and time-critical needs both requirements stated clearly when booking.
To arrange an After Hours job, contact the depot directly with the pickup and delivery details, the reason standard hours do not work for this job, and the times that do. Every after-hours arrangement is agreed case by case, so ask directly rather than assuming availability.
