Same Day Freight

Dispatched and delivered within the same business day.

Same Day is for freight that needs to move today, not on the next scheduled run. A job comes in, it's collected from the pickup address, and it goes out on the next available vehicle from the Perth depot rather than sitting in the queue for the regular network to reach that area.

This suits freight that's genuinely ready to go the moment it's booked: an urgent replacement part, paperwork that has to reach someone before the day is out, a job that wasn't on the plan this morning but can't wait for tomorrow. It's priority handling within the working day, arranged around whatever vehicles are already moving rather than a dedicated single-purpose run.

It doesn't suit freight that isn't ready for collection when the booking is made, or a job where a guaranteed arrival time needs to be locked in ahead of the day. Same Day describes how quickly a job is picked up and prioritised, not a fixed appointment. For freight that can be planned a day or more ahead, Next Day is the better fit.

To book a Same Day job, we need the pickup and delivery addresses, a description of what's moving, and confirmation that it's ready to be collected. Anything about how urgent the job is, including what time it absolutely has to land, is worth raising directly with the depot rather than assumed from the service name.
